For nearly a decade, my father and I had the pleasure of
operating a construction company together that specialized in custom
decks and porches. Despite all the hard work and long hours, I wouldn't
have changed a thing. I got to work with my father and that was very
special and important to me. I also learned a great deal and developed a
strong passion to excel in the industry. Additionally, for six plus years, my sister and I
owned and operated a specialty retail store. It was a pleasure to be able to
work with my sister and something that I will both remember fondly and miss
terribly. It was a fun store to both own and visit. Sadly, we unable to
renew our
lease and could not reopen at a new location. For several years we continued
operations by taking our store on the road to home and garden shows, county
fairs, and festivals.
My father sold
his construction company and my sister and I decided it was time to officially
cease operations of The Backyard Showroom. This created an opportunity for me to basically take what I felt
was the best features and
attributes of these two previous businesses and combine them into one new
business, Creative Outdoor Expressions. I opened the doors with a decade of
experience in the industry and further strengthen the scope of our business with the
addition of some exciting new products, services, and features.
Most importantly, I, and Creative Outdoor Expressions LLC, are very excited and proud to
continue with our unending and true respect for our valued clients. We have been
honored by high numbers of customer referrals and highly value our good
relationships with our past, present, and future clients / friends. They have
always been my inspiration to continue and a reminder to me that there are
still many good and caring people out there in this sometimes-cruel world.
